My name is Madelyn and I\u2019m the Health and Wellness Manager for SFS Chile. Growing up I was a homebody with a deep love of the outdoors and a secret desire to travel. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, I graduated from William &amp; Mary in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In spring of my junior year I studied wildlife conservation and political ecology in Tanzania. Like many people, I found that the study abroad experience profoundly altered my understanding of the world around me. Those four months in Tanzania ignited a belief in the power of experiential education and a desire to be a part of creating those transformative experiences for others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following several years in higher education working as an event planner and COVID case manager, in 2022 I became TESOL certified and moved abroad to teach English in Vietnam. The last few years have taken me across Asia, the US, and parts of Europe while working in education. After several wonderful semesters with the SFS Cambodia program in Siem Reap, I am excited to join the Chile program in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading, running, and ruthless trivia games.
