The Poore Family Farm in Stewartstwon, Coos County NH is an historic homestead portraying one family’s life from the 1830’s to 1983 when John Calvin Kenneth Poore passed away and bequeathed his farm to The Poore Family Foundation for North Country Conservancy. It was his dream that the contents of the farm and its outbuildings would tell the story of how he and his ancestors lived and inspire future generations to uphold

the traditions of the North Country. The house, barns, outbuildings, and their contents are all in authentic condition and reflect their original use and era. In 2015, the Board of Directors engaged TFO to do a Feasibilty Study for the farm so that they could begin to create a sustainable plan for its future. The Study was completed in September 2015.
